In some countries it is already 2019 and even if we still have a few hours here in Germany, I wish you all a happy new year! The last year is almost over, the blog has moved to another website and since then I've been trying to fill it with interesting content. Of course, this should continue in 2019 and that you are not completely surprised, I put together a small preview.
I already know that I will travel to at least two countries. I will finally go to Scotland, a really belated birthday present to my mom. I'm really looking forward to this part of the UK, after our last vacation to Cornwall.
It will also be the first time for me in Paris. I always wanted to see this city.
Hopefully the summer will be as bombastic as last year, then it will be fun to travel in Germany. You should never neglect your own country.
Adopt a student
Since my life is now taking place in Hamburg, it is not easy to have enough time for Adopt students in Bremen. Of course, if my aunt continues the project, I am always happy to participate, but I would be equally happy if I could find a comparable project in Hamburg. Anyone who knows something or knows someone who has further information, can write to me. I'm happy about every inspiration!
For the next year I want to read more, especially in the field of biographies. In this way, I want to know more about people around the world and of course I'll let you know if I find a book particularly interesting. Again, suggestions are always welcome.
Besides, I would like to know more about Germany, that sounds a bit stupid at first, because I live here, but I'm sure that this country is so diverse that I can discover a lot. This will happen as my How to ... in Germany articles, travelogues or other experiences. I want people to see other sides of Germany and not just refugee politics, protests and concerned citizens. Let's enjoy the nice things!
Privately, the next year should be as haywire as usual. After meeting so many great students, I finally want to become one. Let's see if my study time starts this year.
For that, I will definitely be back in school and be so diligent that I get my C1 certificate in English. Then my English blog articles will be even more fantastic!
Tomorrow, however, the biggest change will happen in the new year. My friend and I are getting new family members. Fred and George are ready to be picked up and I can start to become a crazy cat lady.
I hope you all have a happy new year and have a great 2019!
